The Schüür is a two-floor events building ideal for company events, weddings and parties. The wood from the former barn lends this event venue considerable charm and a homely feel. Thanks to the integrated stage with sound system on the upper floor, the Kulturschür can host concerts, lectures and keynote speeches.

Ussicht and Wytsicht

The two multi-functional Ussicht and Wytsicht event rooms are located in the main Gurten Kulm building. The nostalgic yet modern atmosphere combined with the view over the entire City of Bern makes both venues quite unique. These banqueting rooms are ideal for weddings, seminars and celebrations for medium-sized groups.

Vaulted cellar

The vaulted cellar in the basement of the Gurten Kulm building has a feel of yesteryear. Steeped in history, the rustic event room is ideal for a small-scale celebration, an extended aperitif or a wedding party. Thanks to the sheltered arcades, you can celebrate both indoors and outdoors whatever the weather.

Rent Gurtners restaurant exclusively

Gurtners restaurant can be rented exclusively for your celebration. The modern yet cozy venue impresses with its large glass front and an attractive terrace with lounge area. Under the motto “good food lovingly prepared”, traditional homemade dishes are given a modern twist and served lovingly.

Aperitif:	110 people
Restaurant seating:	110 people (The seating in Gurtners restaurant is already fixed.)

The room rental is linked to a minimum turnover of CHF 6'500.–.

The Gurtners restaurant can be hired for half a day at the following times:
11.00 a.m. - 3.00 p.m. (set-up from 10.00 a.m.)
18.00 - 23.00 (set-up from 17.00)

If the turnover is lower, the difference will be charged as room hire.

Rent Huusbüffe restaurant exclusively

You can rent the Huusbüffe self-service restaurant exclusively in the evenings for your event. The venue is ideal for a simple and relaxed celebration. You serve yourself food and drinks at the extensive buffet and enjoy the culinary delights either inside or outside on one of the two large terraces.

Restaurant seating:	180 people

The seating in the Huusbüffe restaurant is partially fixed.

No room rent charged, but a minimum sales revenue of CHF 3'000

In the event of a lower sales revenue, the difference will be charged as room rent.

The Huusbüffe restaurant can only be reserved for evenings from 7 p.m.
