Learn how the garden can combine the aesthetic with the useful, what strengthens plants, how important healthy soil is and how a natural system functions in cycles.

Experience the Gurten Garden in a culinary way with the Gurtner family. Before the garden tours, garden manager Alexandra harvests whatever is ripe - sometimes wild plants, sometimes herbs, sometimes vegetables - and brings them to the Gurtner family kitchen. The creative cooks are inspired by the harvest and conjure up tasty, surprising dishes. These are served to the participants of the garden tours at Gurtner's kitchen table as a tavolata. In addition, the chef shares his thoughts on the culinary side of the Gurtengärtli. Seating for the Gärtli Tavolata is limited to ten participants.
Due to the nature of the harvest, the dishes are predominantly vegetarian. However, the kitchen also has the freedom to serve dishes with meat. If you do not eat meat, you are welcome to indicate this under remarks when ordering your ticket.
The poetic garden tours are supported by Migros Aare Kulturprozent and Bioterra and are carried out in cooperation with Bioterra.
