How good is your aim?

Disc golf – the frisbee course

You can play disc golf, often referred to as “frisbee”, on the Gurten on a course with 12 baskets. The aim is to complete a course with the disk in as few throws as possible. The yellow chain baskets scattered around the Gurten meadow are to be used for this sports activity. The course plan guides you around the course and through the park. Test your skill at disc golf. With how few throws will you complete the course?

The disc golf course is freely accessible every day (the course is not lit).*

* The course is closed during the Gurten Festival (mid-June to approx. end of August) and disc golf tournaments (incl. assembly and dismantling time).

Use of the 12-hole course is free.

Frisbee rental and course plan: CHF 5 + deposit

Frisbee rental from the Tapis Rouge or the Bahnhöfli during opening times.

The aim of the game is to throw the disk into the basket in as few throws as possible. All players start from the tee. The player whose disk is furthest from the basket then takes their turn. The hole is complete when the disk lands in the basket. The number of throws is recorded on the scorecard. At the end of the course, the person with the lowest number of throws wins.
