Boule, also known as pétanque, is a traditional French ball game in which players try to throw their metal balls as close as possible to a small target ball, the “Jack”. The game combines skill and strategy. Boules is a sociable game that is popular in France both as a leisure activity and as a competitive sport and is often enjoyed with good company and a glass of pastis.

On the Gurten, the boules court in front of the Bahnhöfli outdoor stand can be used for a game of boules as a team activity. The boules team activity includes ball hire, drinks and a small snack.
Duration: 1 hour
Participants: per boules group up to 3 players per team
Venue:  Bahnhöfli 
The activity takes place outside in all weather conditions. Warm clothing is recommended. 
The activity takes place without a game master.

CHF 15.– per person

The price includes the rental of the balls for 1 hour, two drinks per person (soft drink or beer) and a bratwurst to grill yourself at the outdoor stand.
